Despite all that’s happened, Kev still thinks he and Yvette are a couple. But Yvette puts a stop to that, and clearly and officially terminates their relationship.
Kev doesn’t accept it easily. He’s never seemed to understand why people don’t like him, and this rejection still hurts him more than most. He begs.
But he is eventually convinced that it is over, and he leaves.
There’s only one more of Kev’s wishes left to fulfil – only one more person he wants to say a few last words to.

Kev is almost to the end of his life. Surprisingly, I will miss him, he was an important character to this story as the one you love to hate. What would really be heart breaking is if Kev and Alice rekindle their father-daughter relationship as a last good-bye. Despite everything, I think Kev loves Alice and Alice loves Kev. This will be sad.

Is it me, or have Yvette’s ears grown since we’ve seen her last?
Up until now, Kev doesn’t seem to have wanted any kind of warm feeling. It’s been about closure. However, with Yvette, I think he wanted to be welcomed back with open arms…or at least be forgiven.
I’m hoping Alice is his last stop, and while I hope something somewhat positive comes out of it, I get the feeling that the most positive thing will be that Alice realizes that her father is incapable of loving her the way she would want to be loved and that it’s time for her to move on with the life she’s started for herself.
You get em girl. There is no scorn like a woman’s scorn.

omg i have no idea why but im crying cuz Kev is gonna die.Just cuz we have watched him raise Alice no matter how bad of a dad he was.We all read how he is starting to change and the fact he is telling everyone his “last words” is making me so sad.
