Kev is now fed, clean, and not terribly tired. Therefore, he’s having a day in town.
He begins the morning by trying to make friends with Alice’s old schoolfriend Anita.
He isn’t very successful. She’s more shocked than impressed.
Anita’s mother gets involved but randomly tries to give him a hug. It’s at this point I recognise her as the woman that was also rather over-friendly to Kev in the library a while back.
After initially rejecting her, I think Kev realises that this woman might be his best chance at companionship. He tries to show her he has changed his mind.
The whole situation is a terrible tragedy. Both of them are desperate for physical affection, but it seems neither are willing unless they are the ones to initiate it.
Kev cheers himself up after his rejection by declaring the next person he sees to be his greatest nemesis.
But that doesn’t exactly go to plan either. Kev wasn’t expecting him to fight back quite so much.

Really enjoying the story so far let us hope that Kev continues his crazy ways long into his old age and who knows he may find a women whose heart he can break in the end!
p.s. you have spelled Nemesis as Nemeses in the title just thought you might want to update that!

This completely cracked me up. I love Kev’s expression while he’s flashing Anita the “OK”. Definitely curious as to how the Kev/Anita’s mom relationship plays out. That has fantastic comedic potential.

that’d be cool, but it would ruin the purpose of the story. Y’know, if Alice gets a house, her homeless problems wll end and Kev will probably die the day after that- Alice+house=end of Alice and Kev. end of Alice and Kev=bad thing.

for example kev could move in with her and annoy the hell out of her or she could have problems with the house like she has the unlucky trait so she would probably set the house on fire/break a bunch of stuff

Or more likely, with a wrench! Don’t often see Sims with knives (or at least I don’t), but I do see them playing with wrenches. Either way, if he jabs him with it, it’s likely to hurt.

I have a trailer park in my Sunset Valley. Surely, Alice can afford an empty trailer on her earnings and she can start from there. At least she would have the privacy she longs for.

I have made my own homeless family, but they all have mooch as a trait, so its really easy to keep them happy. I might try it with similar traits to Alice and Kev though, just to make it really interesting. Its really fun just leaving them and seeing what they do to stay alive, especially on high free will. Wow.. I’ve written a lot! I’ll leave you to it.

I’m so impressed by Kev’s ever-changing facial expressions. They are so expressive! And Robin, you capture them so well! The second to last frame is my favorite — Kev’s face is priceless, and you can just hear the other man growling. This blog is fabulous, thank you for updating! I liked reading about how you make the blog–taking shots from many angles and piecing it together later. How long does it take you to make an entry like this?

That guy Kev’s trying to make his nemesis is named Daniel Wang (at least in my game), and he’s actually quite handsome when he’s slimmed-down and given a change of clothes.
As much as I like the story, it’s nice to have an entry with few if any sad overtones. Kev is a hoot when he’s fed, clean, and in a good mood.
I thought he looked familiar. Daniel was mean to me in high school. :<

Wait, Anita looks a lot older than Alice now! I know she’s a “young adult”, but about how old is Alice, numerically?
Sims don’t have real ages, just general life spans. The young adult age usually makes sims to appear about 20-29, then they age into adults and get virturally no appearance changes, except for a few wrinkles.
Bwahahahaha, I wanna guess what’s happening next. Kev hits on both Anita and her mother with the same disaster as the last time he hit on mother and child. The new nemesis comes to hunt down Kev at his home, and finds Alice there and is immediately attracted. Then the new nemesis and Zed have to fight it out with each other over Alice, and Kev, because he’s insane, tries to smooth everything out by giving everyone a hug. :O
Ooo! I love that idea! It’s different than the other ideas. They’re really starting to wear on me. Kev needs to stop hugging people, IT’S NOT WORKING! Honestly would you hug someone if they insulted or came onto you first. Ughh!
Kev: Hey everyone, let’s all hold hands and do a sing along! Can you feel the love tonight…?
Kev: *gets rejected by everyone*
Kev: Oh, I see, you’re not ready for that one. Let’s try a different song then! Why can’t we be friends? Why can’t we be friends?

Alice: *thinks she should feed her dad again, because he talks less with food in his mouth*

Alice: *rolls her eyes and goes to the library to read some romance novels*
Kev to hottie: If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?
Kev (a few moments later): I don’t get it! I showered this year! Why won’t people hug me? Oh, I know! It must be my extra baggage. I’m gonna go insult that girl now! This is all her fault!

I went back and looked at previous chapters. Kev went to bed at Zed’s house, reeking. Did he take a bath or shower while there?
While I laugh at Kev’s attempts at “romance”, it actually saddens me to see he and Anita’s mother both in need of closeness, but neither willing to accept it from the other.
Man, I love this series, one of the most unique (if not the most unique) out there. Only recently started reading, though.
Love this story. i hope alice has a happy ending. dont care about kev he should of been nicer to alice. i felt sorry for alice so i downloaded her then got kev to marry a nice rich person so alice can have a good life.

You don’t have to be married to have a ring. In sims 3 you have the option to put rings on and gloves and stuff like that.
How old is Kev?? Well is there an actual age when sims have to die. Like in my game i’ve had some sims that last to be 105 days old and others only 95 (this is in normal sim age).
There are so many variables it gets confusing.
I love what you’ve done here though. I don’t like inappropriate sims as they always mess up the situation, but yours seem to get something good to happen, in a way.
Looking forward to the next update.

Is it just me and my obsession with The Shining, or does the first picture remind anyone else of that one scen in the movie of The Shining where Jack is going crazy and he’s just like “Have you ever thought for a single second about MY responsibilities? Have you ever had a single moment’s thought about my responsibilities to my employers?!?” (It’s something like that.) Has anyone even seen that? IDK. It just reminds me of that.
