They fight, as the daughter makes a salad, oblivious to the events.
The old man is left in pain as Kev stands triumphant.

Actually my computer is 7 years old and only has one gig of RAM memory, but because of a few simple and very cheap modifications it runs the Sims 3 very well. Of course it slows down a bit on the big lots, but it still works!

By reading the responses, apparently no one has ever made an enemy in between Sims before. As soon as your Sim becomes an enemy with another Sim, they receive the wish to fight their new enemy. I’ve had this happen in my game, and my Sim was not evil or any other negative traits.
Exactly. I’ve had so many sims get into fights (even among the “welcoming committee”) because they are enemies. The difference is that my sims all have to go watch the fight and stop what they are doing.
The attenuation of the story line, what brought me here in the first place (from BoingBoing) is dying down lately!
Show us the inner lives and thoughts of your characters, rather than just reporting on the events! You are a terrific writer!

Yvette’s, um, stench is probably just due to the fact that this was in the morning, and this all occurred before she had time to take a shower. Remember yesterday: “He meets Yvette in the front garden as she heads to pick up the morning paper.” And if you look in those photos, you don’t see any of the green air.
@Katie: If you look at her face, she obviously is an elder. The third pic down on yesterday’s post shows a good shot of her face, I think.
To me, the second picture looks like Kev is giving the old man a hug. :3

This is one of the most beautiful, genuine, and intriguing things I’ve stumbled across in my entire life. It shocks me that these things that are depicted by…a GAME character…are touching me and making me cry. What’s more, it has raised my awareness of what it’s like to be a homeless person, and I believe I’ll do more in the future now to help the homeless because of this. This is a beautiful thing you’ve got going on here, please do keep it up. Oh, and I really want the Sims 3 now. Any game that can emulate this sort of emotion is worth buying. Thanks so much for making this, keep on going!

Your blog is awesome. Poor old woman has no idea what she is getting into. I love my Sims 3, I think the personalities do so much for the gameplay. I let my sims get their own traits as they grow pretty interesting.

To be totally honest, I read about this on the Yahoo News…and even as it said “Don’t start reading ANY of these unless you have enough time to read them ALL, as you won’t be able to stop.”…And I scoffed at the idea, proclaiming is stupid. And I’ve now read from beginning to end, and I am surprisingly impressed with the writing, and the complexity of the Sims games now….last I ever played was The Sims 1, and it wasn’t NEARLY as complex and interesting as this is.
I can’t waiiiiit to see how thihgs are with Alice and how she will react to Kev’s new woman…
