All adults in The Sims 3 have a lifetime wish. An ultimate goal that they want to achieve before the end of their life. Usually this is to reach the top of a particular career path, or become the best at a particular set of skills. When you create an adult Sim, you’re given a selection of lifetime wishes to choose from, which change depending on that Sim’s personality traits.
When I made Kev, choosing a lifetime wish was a little difficult. I knew that he was never going to be successful in a career, which meant that almost all of the options the game offered me weren’t going to be possible. The only lifetime wish available to him that I thought he could aspire towards while still remaining homeless was to become a ‘heartbreaker’. He wants to be the boyfriend of 10 different sims.
So while Alice is asleep on a bench somewhere, I send Kev to the park to try to find him some romance. However, due to either his inappropriate or insane trait, he turns up without his clothes.
Things don’t get off to a good start. He tries a pickup line.
That didn’t work either. We need an entirely new approach. For a moment I think Kev’s found a way to truly connect with someone when he makes a silly face at her, and she makes one back. Then she gets bored with his funny stories, so he talks to her about his conspiracy theories, and that really turns her off. She doesn’t like it when he ‘speaks madness’ either.
Bugger it. This is going nowhere. The only way we can salvage this relationship is for Kev to insult her appearance, slap her, and declare her an enemy in order to increase his mood.
Nobody loves Kev.

Traits mean nothing in the game.
There is nothing you can’t not do in the game with any sim, not matter what your traits, it’s just a matter of doing it slow or fast.
This isn’t really a “game diary”.
Its more a case of using sims imagery to aid a pretend story.

I know all sims have a phone, but for the sake of the story, why would she have one if she’s homeless and has no money? 😉
As others have pointed out, most people, even if homeless, will have some kind of mobile phone. It has to be a vital tool for trying to build a life with no permanent residence.
