Alice recently discovered a man called Zedadias had moved in to the house across the road from the park, and this person had a television! You can guess she was eager to gain entrance and take advantage of the luxuries of a house that wasn’t yet rejecting her.
This was a new experience and you can tell she’s feeling a little awkward. Sitting on a sofa, watching moving images, idly chatting, not being told she was acting inappropriately. Her stress disappeared over the course of an afternoon. She’s managed to relax for the first time since childhood.
It wasn’t long before her exhaustion prevented her from continuing, so she sneaked off to Zedadias’ bed.
For a little while, he didn’t even seem to notice, and she thought perhaps he didn’t even mind. But he did eventually come in, and the old complaint about inappropriate behaviour came out again.
I think he looks sad because he actually came in to use that bed himself.
He cheers himself up by making silly faces in the mirror, though. Zedadias has the ‘childish’ trait.

zed is not sad …he’s upset that he can’t get to where he wanted to go, that could’ve been to talk to alice or it could’ve been he wanted to sleep. but zed and alice can’t sleep in the same bed because they’re not “lovers” 😛 lol

you know what’s missing in this story/game/thing? a little bit of compassion. no character seems to be sad to see that Alice is homeless, they all react negatively. which happens in real life too, but not in this way. also, this zed guy would have been most excited to have such a hot young woman in his bed, rather than be annoyed that “she used his bed”. it wasn’t like he really needed to sleep at exactly that time, and had nowhere else to sleep. so the reactions of these characters are all childish 🙂 and mostly unrealistic.
