Despite her miserable mood, I’ve been making sure Alice gets all of her homework done, and even telling her to work hard when she’s at school. She’s got a ‘stressed out’ moodlet most of the time. She asked her dad to help her with her homework, but he wanted to rummage in the dustbin.
Then the weekend came. Rather than being a relief, this is actually pretty bad news for Alice. School dinners are her only source of food on most days. And the family is now entirely out of money, as Alice appears to be telling her friend on the phone.
So saturday morning, Alice goes wandering in search of food. The nearby ‘Grandpas’ family lets her in, and she makes a beeline for the ice cream in the fridge.
The Grandpas tell her she is being inappropriate. She ignores them and goes to have a shower. It doesn’t work out for her, though. Again, the Grandpas come to tell her she’s being inappropriate, bursting in while she’s showering. She’s now got a negative moodlet for ‘embarrassment’, which almost negates the mood bonus she got for getting clean. Now no longer hungry or smelly, she is almost content. There’s only one thing left to do.
At which point the Grandpas decide enough is enough, and tell her she has to leave.
